Care 2021-2022
Care includes drawings and cyanotypes created during the artist’s first two years of motherhood, which she spent as the primary caregiver to her son in Amsterdam during the pandemic. Out of necessity, attention shifted away from dynamic compositions and into accumulations of stolen moments in the studio. The marks collected on the page reflect an accumulation of the constant and repetitive caregiving acts in the home.
