Love & Gravity 2023-2024
Featuring graphite drawings and cyanotypes made while raising young children, these works explore the push and pull of caregiving; reflecting upon the universal yet deeply personal experience of mothering and the way it quietly reshapes you. The accumulated marks on paper become a record of invisible labor, and imagined landscapes become spaces where the experience of caregiving could unfold and be processed. What was initially experienced as a loss of self tranformed into a softening which gives way to a firmer foundation.
