The Lab is a place where smart, creative people like you come together to experiment, share, and uncover new layers in both their practices and themselves. Between us, we have an incredible range of expertise and valuable feedback. This space, which is held on Slack, is intentionally low-key: a place to explore ideas, follow curiosities, and test things out off-the-record, because that’s where the most aligned transformations tend to happen.

If you don’t know me, I’m Rachel, an artist who has lived all over, most recently in Austin, TX before relocating to Amsterdam. I am best known for my XL graphite drawings, but am trying all sorts of non-drawing things right now too.

When my second baby was born I didn’t have time to make my normal work, but I had so many ideas. It didn’t feel safe to publicly stray from the work that I was already successful in, so I connected with another artist mother who was in a similar spot. Sharing our meagre studio progress made such a big impact on our momentum and I want to share this with more people who are called to transform their practices.
